SONDORS Inc. (Los Angeles, CA) ceased normal e-bike operations in 2023. Electrek (Aug 22, 2023) documented the LA facility listed as permanently closed, the website unable to process card orders and unanswered support tickets. Electrek (Dec 25, 2023) reported the company entered receivership with Rock Creek Financial Advisors as receiver (Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, not a Chapter 7/11 filing) and its assets put up for sale through Jan 19, 2024. Electrek (Jun 4, 2025) reports founder Storm Sondors bought the company back out of receivership and relaunched it pre-selling a new off-road bike (Meta AT / '001'). As of 2026-09-08 sondors.com is a minimal landing page for the '001' with a single 'Sales & Support' phone/email and no e-bike parts store; shop.sondors.com/collections/parts-store and support.sondors.com could not be reached (redirect loop / 403). No official spare-parts or warranty support for legacy e-bikes (Original, Thin, Fold, X, XS, MXS, Smart Step, LX) could be confirmed; treat legacy support as unavailable.
